About Nesbits Auctions
Nesbits auctions was founded by entrepreneur David Nesbit and is currently run by his grandson, David Nesbit, and Auctioneer and Valuer John Cameron. Our saleroom was constructed in 1920 and has been in continuous use as an auction house since 1921. It is conveniently located in central Southsea and can be accessed via Clarendon Road or Stanley Street. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with a traditional and personal service tailored to meet the expected standards of a fast-paced modern world.
We have 10 auctions per year including specialist auctions. Our fully-catalogued auctions are advertised and broadcast live on www.easyliveauction.com and www.the-saleroom.com, the world’s leading auction partner, to ensure our client’s goods are always sold in a truly global marketplace.
Nesbits are qualified members of regulatory bodies the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA).
